  • The Federal Energy Tax Credit will reduce the total cost of your PV system design and installation by 30%.
  • For each 1,000 KWh that you produce, you will earn 1 REC (Renewable Energy Credit). RECs are reimbursed annually by the state of NH at the current rate of $55 per REC.
  • With net metering, your local utility will also credit you each month for the electricity produced from the solar array at a rate equal to the rate that you are paying. For months in which you produce more than you consume, your utility will carry forward your credit to be used against future bills.
  • For residential systems: The NH State Residential Energy Rebate will reduce the cost of your system by $0.75/W up to a maximum of $3,750.
  • For commercial systems: The NH State Commercial & Industrial Energy Rebate will reduce the cost of your system by $0.80/W up to a maximum of $50,000.

  • For each 1,000 KWh that you produce, you will earn 1 SREC (Solar Renewable Energy Credit). SRECs are reimbursed annually by the state of MA at the current rate of $220-$240 per SREC.
  • For residential and commercial systems under 15KW:  MassCEC currently offers a rebate available which we will be submitting on your behalf. The MassCEC Rebate will reduce the cost of your system by a base amount of $0.40/W, with the possibility of up to $0.85/W DC, if you qualify for either the moderate income adder or moderate home value adder, up to a maximum of $4,250. Rebates must be approved prior to authorization to interconnect. Only customers of utilities that have elected to participate in the MassCEC Renewable Energy Trust Fund may receive this rebate (National Grid, NSTAR, Western Massachusetts Electric Compny, Unitil, Cape Light Company, and other participating municipal lighting companies).

  • Efficiency Maine Renewable System rebates for Solar and Wind projects are fully allocated and, at this time, there are no plans for future State rebates.
  • For Heat Pump Water Heaters, Efficency Maine is currently offering a $300 cash rebate through June 30 th, 2014.

    Can this be set up on a south facing, single wide, moble home ? My electric bill is about 50 to 60 in the summer and up to 100 in the winter.
